Weekend > PREP
| PREP is Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta’s teen workforce development initiative. PREP stands for Professional Readiness Experience Program. With its creation during Summer of 2023, we have even more in store for years to come. This program is reserved for high school girls within the Greater Atlanta area who have an interest in furthering their knowledge and fostering their talents to best prepare for the working world. PREP is broken into two sectors – PREP Mentor and PREP Mentee.
PREP Mentors are hired during the Summer only. The program is organized for all Mentors to receive 16 hours of enrichment and 24 workable hours a week at one of our designated camp sites. PREP Mentees are registered girls for our weekend program every first Saturday of the month. Mentees have a primary focus on enrichment through our dynamic research-based programming all whilst participating in unique field trip and guest speaker experiences.
