The Girls Inc. Afterschool Program is for girls and boys grades 5th-8th at Atlanta Smart Academy. Our Afterschool Programs strive to create a warm, fun and nurturing environment where youth can engage in programs such as STEM, Empowerment, Healthy Living, Leadership and Advocacy. In addition, we provide academic enrichment through homework help and tutoring. Afterschool Program Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 3:30pm – 6:00pm
Friday: 1:30pm – 6:00pm
Daily Schedule
This schedule will be altered as needed for special activities and guest speakers.
Monday – Thursday:
- 3:45pm – 4:00pm: Girls Inc. Participants Arrive
- 3:45pm – 4:30pm: Homework Hour/ Snack
- 4:30pm – 5:30pm: Girls Inc. Signature Programming
- 5:30pm – 6:00pm: Informal Time
Friday:
- 1:45pm – 2:00pm: Girls Inc. Participants Arrive
- 1:45pm – 2:30pm: Snack
- 2:30pm – 3:00pm: Team Building Time
- 3:00pm – 5:30pm: FUN Friday
- 5:30pm – 6:00pm: Informal Time
Afterschool Payments
- Application Fee: $25.00 non-refundable due at time of registration.
- Tuition Fee: Free
