Marietta Center Afterschool

The Girls Inc. Afterschool Program is for your grades K-8th in and around the Marietta City and Cobb County Areas. At our Marietta Center, Girls Inc. strives to create a warm, fun and nurturing environment where girls can engage in programs such as STEM, Girl Empowerment, Healthy Living, Leadership and Advocacy. In addition, we provide academic enrichment through homework help and tutoring. 2026-27 Afterschool Schedule

Afterschool Program Hours: 2:45 pm – 6:30 pm
In addition, we have longer hours on most early release days as well as some student holiday days.

Daily Schedule
This schedule will be altered as needed for special activities and guest speakers.

Monday – Thursday:

    • 2:45pm – 3:00pm: Cobb Girls Arrive at Center
    • 3:30pm – 4:30pm: Marietta City Girls Arrive at Center
    • 3:00pm – 4:00pm: Snack/Informal Time
    • 4:00pm – 5:00pm: Girls Inc. Programming
    • 5:00pm – 6:30pm: Homework/Tutoring

Friday:

    • 2:45pm – 3:00pm: Cobb Girls Arrive at Center
    • 3:30pm – 4:30pm: Marietta City Girls Arrive at Center
    • 3:00pm – 4:00pm: Snack
    • 3:30pm – 4:00pm: Team Building Time
    • 4:00pm – 6:30pm: FUN Friday
Transportation

All Marietta City Elementary Schools will drop girls off at our center for the afterschool program on the school bus. Girls Inc. will pick up girls from local Cobb County and Charter Elementary Schools. Parents are responsible for arranging drop off with the schools transportation office. The program is open to all girls in K-8th grade at the schools listed below. Girls who are homeschooled or at a school outside our service area can be dropped off at the center for afterschool programming.

The following list is subject to change due to the number of girls registered for our Afterschool Program. We cannot pick up at a school if there are not enough girls from that school registered – i.e., we cannot pick up at a school for only one girl even if it is a school listed below.

Afterschool Payments
  • Registration Fee: $50.00 non-refundable due at time of registration.
  • Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta Weekly Afterschool Rate is $80 per week (scholarships available).  If your income are as follows, you will receive a scholarship rate which is listed:

$70,001 and up = $80 weekly

$60,001 – 70,000 = $75 weekly

$50,001 – 60,000 = $70 weekly

$40,001 – 50,000 = $65 weekly

$30,001 – $40,000 = $60 weekly

$30,000 and lower = $55 weekly
