Bone Bingo Brings Anatomy to Life at KIPP WAYS
KIPP WAYS · September 2026
Curiosity in action.
Learning through play.
Bone Bingo gave students an interactive way to explore the skeletal system.
September’s Sporting Chance: Bone Zone activities gave students at KIPP WAYS a playful way to learn about the human skeletal system.
Learning one bone at a time.
Ms. Anaya led an interactive game of Bone Bingo, inviting students to practice identifying bones and remembering their names. The game gave participants a chance to revisit what they were learning through an activity they could take part in together.
Hands-on learning
See it. Name it. Keep exploring.

Connecting names with the body.
A model skeleton added another dimension to the lesson. Students could see where different bones are located while using that information during the game.
By connecting bone names with a visible model, the activity reinforced anatomy concepts and encouraged students to use what they had learned. It also showed that learning about the body can include curiosity, interaction, and fun.
More ways to explore.
Bone Bingo was one way our KIPP WAYS program continued exploring the body through Sporting Chance: Bone Zone in September.
