💙 The Mission

During these challenging times as SNAP benefits are paused, Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta is stepping up for our community. We know that when families face food insecurity, it impacts health, confidence, and the ability to thrive. That’s why we launched the Families Thrive Food Distribution Project — to ensure youth and their families have access to quality food when it’s needed most.

📸 What to Expect

  • Packing shelf-stable goods into food bags
  • Setting up for pick-up
  • Greeting and distributing food to families
  • End-of-day clean-up

Volunteers Needed — Corporate Teams Welcome!
📍 Location: Girls Inc. Marietta Center
461 Manget Street SE, Marietta, GA 30060

  • We pick up 30–40 cases of food weekly
  • Volunteers help sort, pack, distribute, and clean up
  • Shifts are on Thursdays and Fridays (see full schedule above)
