Once Upon a Summer

Once Upon a Summer is a story-inspired camp experience where each week builds on the last, helping youth grow inconfidence, character, creativity, and teamwork. Campers become the main characters in their own journey, learningand developing through shared activities, meaningful connections, and fun experiences.

Chapter One: Cinderella – Confidence & Kindness: Campers build confidence through kindness, perseverance, and positive self-talk, learning empathy skills to face challenges and believe in themselves daily.

Chapter Two: Mulan – Courage & Leadership: Campers practice courage and leadership by trying new experiences, working as teams, supporting peers, and stepping confidently into leadership roles.

Chapter Three: Tiana – Dreams, Goals & Hard Work: Campers learn dreams require planning, effort, and responsibility through goal-setting, collaboration, and completing projects with persistence and pride together.

Chapter Four: Snow White – Friendship & Community: Campers focus on friendship and community, practicing cooperation, inclusion, and healthy conflict resolution while caring for one another respectfully daily.

Chapter Five: Girls Inc. Games Week – Teamwork & Play: Campers engage in games emphasizing team work, cooperation, effort, and sportsmanship, where everyone participates, collaborates, and celebrates together.

Final Chapter: Camp Invention – The Grand Finale: The summer concludes with campers applying learned skills to create, design, collaborate, reflect, and celebrate growth, creativity, and accomplishments together.

🏐 Volleyball Clinic: Spike HER Skills

Dates: June 30 – July 3, 2025
Location: Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta Center, 461 Manget St SE, Marietta, GA 30060
Cost: $175

Times:
High School (9th–12th grade): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Early drop-off at 8:30 AM)
Elementary & Middle School (K–8th grade): 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Early drop-off at 12:30 PM)

Aftercare: Available for K–8th grade from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM for an additional $25.

Serve, spike, and soar this summer at our four-day volleyball clinic led by Coach Joëlle Mafo, Head Coach of Clark Atlanta University’s Women’s Volleyball Team! This dynamic clinic is open to girls of all skill levels and focuses on building core volleyball techniques—from serving and setting to teamwork and strategy. Through high-energy drills, scrimmages, and mentoring, participants will grow their game and their confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

💃 Dance Clinic: Move, Learn, and Shine

Dates: July 7 – 11, 2025
Location: Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta Center, 461 Manget St SE, Marietta, GA 30060
Cost: $175

Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Drop-off begins at 7:30 AM)

Before Care: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM for an additional $25
Aftercare: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM for an additional $25

Experience the joy of dance in a vibrant and inclusive setting! Presented by Lyrric Jackson Dance, this five-day clinic offers girls ages 6–12 an opportunity to explore various dance styles, including ballet, modern, jazz, and contemporary. Through creative movement and self-expression, participants will build confidence, coordination, and camaraderie. The week culminates in a special showcase performance for family and friends, celebrating each dancer’s growth and achievements.
