Holiday Circus of Skill Showcases Student Growth and Creativity

In December, Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta hosted our annual Holiday Showcase, themed the Holiday Circus of Skill—a vibrant celebration of student learning, creativity, and growth. With colorful holiday attire and the lively presence of Clown Elves, the showcase offered an engaging, festive experience for students, families, and staff alike.

The event highlighted student projects and activities across key program areas, including STEM, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Sporting Chance, You Vote, Be BOLD, and Financial Literacy. At each station, students took the lead—explaining concepts, demonstrating skills, and proudly presenting their work.

A standout moment came from the Financial Literacy station, where students discussed budgeting strategies, the difference between needs and wants, and the value of saving and making responsible money choices. These real-world lessons were communicated with clarity and enthusiasm, showing just how deeply students understood the topics they explored.

Throughout the evening, guests witnessed students confidently share their learning journeys, demonstrating communication, leadership, and pride in their accomplishments. The Holiday Circus of Skill wasn’t just a showcase—it was a celebration of hard work, personal growth, and the vibrant community that surrounds our youth.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the families, staff, and guests who supported this joyful event. Your presence and encouragement made the evening truly special and helped close out the season on a high note.
