Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta was thrilled to participate in the second annual Pretty Empowered event, hosted by YWCA Greater Atlanta in collaboration with Ulta Beauty—and this year’s theme, JOY, radiated through every moment.

🌟 A Day of Joy, Confidence, and Connection

From the moment our girls arrived, they were immersed in a space designed to uplift, inspire, and affirm. The event offered a powerful mix of creativity, learning, and celebration:

• 🧪 STEM meets self-expression in a hands-on perfume-making activity
• 💬 Confidence-building workshops focused on self-worth and inner strength
• 🤝 Moments of sisterhood that reminded girls they’re never alone in their journeys

Throughout the day, our girls explored what joy truly means—not just happiness, but the deep, resilient kind of joy that comes from knowing who you are and supporting others to shine as well.
