A day to explore leadership, technology, and the futures
girls imagine for themselves.
At Girls Inc. Teen Day 2026, middle and high school girls
explored the leaders they want to become and the futures
they hope to build. Through GLOW, Eureka!, and Project
Accelerate, participants put their ideas into practice
through activities connecting leadership, technology,
and personal goals.
GLOW
Creating a vision of leadership
During the GLOW experience, girls considered a question:
What does it mean to be a leader?
After exploring the qualities of effective leaders, they
designed and created their own leaders from scratch.
The activity gave participants a creative way to consider
which qualities they value and want to develop in themselves.
Eureka!
Exploring AI and ocean conservation
Eureka! introduced girls to the connection between
artificial intelligence and ocean conservation through
AI for the Oceans. Participants explored
how technology can help people understand and respond to
challenges facing our oceans, connecting STEM learning
with an issue beyond the classroom.
Project Accelerate
Picturing what comes next
Project Accelerate participants created
vision boards reflecting their goals and
aspirations. By bringing together ideas about
their personal lives, education, and careers, they gave
visual form to the possibilities they envision for themselves.
Across the day, girls had opportunities to create, ask
questions, and consider new possibilities. We look forward
to supporting them as they continue exploring their interests
and putting their goals into action.
