The holiday spirit was in full swing on Saturday, December 20, 2025, as Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta teamed up with the Austell Community Taskforce to host the annual Toys for Tots Holiday Festival at the South Cobb Recreation Center.

Thanks to the generosity of our partners, volunteers, and donors, 449 children across the community received holiday toys—bringing excitement, joy, and a sense of magic to hundreds of families this season. From the moment guests entered the space, it was clear this wasn’t just a toy drive—it was a full-scale holiday celebration.

The event featured:

• Holiday toy selection and on-site gift wrapping
• Festive performances and music
• Photos with Santa—and a surprise visit from the Grinch!
• A holiday decoration contest that transformed the gym into a winter wonderland
• Vendor tables hosted by youth entrepreneurs and community organizations

This heartwarming festival wasn’t just about toys—it was about sharing joy, connection, and community hope. By celebrating together, we created meaningful moments that will stay with families long after the wrapping paper is gone.
